Olga graduated in Biological Sciences and has dedicated her career to studying the impact of human activities on Mediterranean coastal ecosystems. Since 1991, she has been with the Balearic Oceanography Centre, where she focuses on the effects of fisheries exploitation on marine fish and invertebrates.
