For Save the Med, 2025 was more than just another year on the calendar; it was a year of profound transformation. Just as the sea constantly renews itself, we have navigated a process of internal regeneration to ensure our impact on the Mediterranean is more enduring, local, and community-driven than ever. 

Our story comes alive in the pages of our 2025 Logbook. This year, we continued to focus our efforts in the Areas Under Regeneration (AUR) of Andratx, Pollença, and Sóller. Our mission has evolved: it’s no longer just about protection, but about nurturing spaces where local communities take the helm as stewards of their own marine environment.

In this report, we share the milestones achieved by our crew—from the tagging of sharks and rays to the pilot launch of the Community Vessel, our dedicated platform for local action. Thanks to the steady support of our allies and partners—the "trade winds" that fill our sails—we continue to turn every nautical mile into a step toward regenerating our ecosystems.
